Systech offers expanded mobile emission testing service in Davidson County, Tennessee
Systech International, the contractor that operates the vehicle emission inspection program (Metro VIP) in Davidson County, is expanding its mobile emission testing services through its fleet of six testing vans. The vans are equipped with the same emission testing equipment that is used in the fixed emission testing stations in the county. Systech will be using the vans to provide more convenience to the public, government agencies and companies that have fleet vehicles requiring emission testing.
Current customers of Systech’s mobile emission testing services include CarMax, American Red Cross, City of Lakewood, Gaylord Entertainment (Opryland employee vehicles), Metro Public Schools and Nashville Electric Service. Systech brings a mobile testing van to their premises so that they don’t have to send their vehicles to the fixed inspection stations. Systech is inviting more businesses to take advantage of this convenient service and will be calling on large employers in the next few weeks.
Systech is also planning to expand the mobile service to the general public by establishing relationships with businesses and government agencies that allow its mobile units on their premises. Once arrangements are made, the individual motorists and small businesses will be able to ‘drop by’ for inspections at scheduled times and locations that can be more convenient that the fixed inspection stations.
“Making emission testing more convenience is part of our mandate as well as our core business principles,” said Chris Smith, Systech International Vice President of Operations. “Expanding our mobile emission testing service will save the public and local businesses, large and small, time and money which is important in these challenging economic times.”
On Saturday June 13th, Systech is making an appearance in Bellevue to provide mobile testing service to the public at an annual public event. Again on Tuesday June 23rd Systech is making a quarterly visit to Gaylord Entertainment for testing their personnel vehicles as well as Opryland personnel.
