Opus Inspection supplied and supports the Emissions Database Management System, telecommunications network, and original inspection equipment – including Fleet Analyzer Systems – for the State of Connecticut Emissions Program.
Opus Inspection developed and manufactured over 300 BAR 97 type ASM analyzers for vehicle inspection stations throughout the State of Connecticut. Our test systems perform all required I/M tests, including OBDII, ASM, TSI, evaporative emissions, visual inspections, unloaded diesel inspections, and loaded diesel inspections.
Fleet Test Systems
Our Fleet OBDII Analyzer Systems are designed for use by fleet stations as a part of regular I/M programs. The Fleet OBDII Analyzer System performs the I/M tests required by fleets, including OBDII, visual inspection, and evaporative emissions tests. The Analyzer System user interface is fully automated to guide the inspector through the test.
This cost effective OBDII Analyzer System offers fleet owners a more convenient way to meet inspection requirements by performing inspections at their own service bays. Fleet owners no longer have to take their vehicles to authorized inspection stations to have the I/M test performed.
Opus Inspection was selected as the contractor to develop, install, and maintain the Emissions Database Management System (EDBMS). EDBMS is the State of Connecticut’s Vehicle Inspection Database (VID) that manages the statewide enhanced emissions inspection program. The EDBMS is fully Internet based, with all station equipment operating online at all times during station business hours.
